Today I got an actual picture of Julep’s first daughter! What a stunning yearling- Mint Leclipse, now 1 year old, is going to develop wonderfully – just „WOW“ to Juleps first daughter, out of Sternbergs Lady Liliana – and once more congratulations to her owner Lisa – we are really proud!!!

Alizèe Froment, french Grand Prix-Rider, Show-Star & Trainer of the french Pony Dressage Team gives a 3 day-dressage clinic in our stable. It was incredible and I could get a lot of input for my further training with Julep!

South German Connemara Show
24h, 1100 km and our first big show…. an effort it was really worth it!
Without big expectations we got on the way with two of our self-bred ponys – Fairytales Mint Julep, 5y stallion by Marvellous Simon, and Fairytales Maybell, 3y mare by Sternbergs Mercutio.
It was such a great atmoshpere, among so many breeders, being part of one big Connemara-family!
Karli showed our two ponys in-hand, and we had so much success we never expected!! Julep took 2nd place in his stallion class, and Maybell won her mares class. We are sooo happy, what a great result among/against so many fantastic, high quality ponys!
My 16y riding student Heidi presented Julep in the ridden classes. Although she stood in and only rode him a few times before, they did a really fantastic work together – and finally they could win their dressage-class, and did a very beautiful clear round in show-jumping!
A very long, wonderful day… we are very proud of our Ponys, and Heidi!
We’ll be back again :)

Julep had two starts in class A. This young boy was just awesome! With each time more we go on competitions he gets more routine and calmness… A very full preparation arena, directly next to the competition arena a herd on the grass…
Julep was so focussed on Sophie and really gave his best,
they were a pleasure to watch!

Julep started in his first show jumping competition with 2 second places!

Julep exceeded all our expectations and took two placements at his first dressage-test. The judges praised his age-appropriated presentation and harmony between rider & horse!

Julep’s first training & fun event at cross country course – this young boy was just great, with an overwhelming technic, so much fun and concentration – looks like we found his passion ;) Without any fear hee took all the cross country obstacles we offered him, including „trakehner jump“, and the water.
He made both in training & fun-event clear rounds!

Julep auf der Körung des ÖZP in St. Pölten.
Er wurde mit 145,5 cm Stockmaß, Röhrbeinumfang 19 cm, Sprunggelenke 31 cm eingemessen. Besonders lobend hervorgehoben wurden sein Kaliber und sein Ponytyp, im Freilauf zeigt er sich taktischer und mit raumgreifenden Bewegungen.

Hengstschau Wultendorf am 16. März 2014
Das erste Mal auswärts unter Sattel, erstmals in einer Reithalle –
unser erst 4jähriger Junghengst hat sich auch in fremder Umgebung
mit unvorstellbarer Gelassenheit und taktsicher wie ein Uhrwerk gezeigt!
Sophie Figl hat ihn genial vorgestellt, trotz fremder Umgebung und teilweise heftigsten Windböen/Geräuschen, Musik, Zuschauern war er so aufmerksam und rittig, und dabei unglaublich locker und losgelassen, es war eine Freude, den Beiden zuzusehen!

Julep ist nun in Körvorbereitung und wird am 05.04. im Rahmen der Hengstanerkennung des ÖZP in St. Pölten/Hart vorgestellt!
Er ist wohl einer von ganz wenigen Hengste die selbst im Körtraining in ihrer Offenstallgruppe bleiben dürfen :)

Fairytales Maybell zurück von der Sommerweide
Gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Midnight Lady ist unsere Jährlingsstute Maybell heute von der Sommerweide zurück ins heimatliche „Winterquartier“ gekommen -nun ist unsere Herde wieder komplett, und Schwesterchen Melody freut sich riesig über eine weitere Spielkameradin :)

Bold Fellow – 2 Platzierungen L-Dressur
Stephanie Distl hat mit Bold Fellow, Halbbruder der Zuchtstute Mhara (über den gemeinsamen Vater Spinway Keepsake) einen 2. und einen 4. Platz in der L-Dressur erritten – damit haben die Beiden ihre Lizenzpunkte „voll“ und können ab nun die Klasse LM in Angriff nehmen!

Fairytales Melody Rose ist da!
Mhara hat uns heuer ein Falbstutfohlen von Sternbergs Mercutio geschenkt – Traumfarbe, Stute noch dazu, großrahmig und korrekt – ein Lotto 6er, wir sind begeistert!!
